Welcome to the Harvard Reunion GreenRide website!
Reunion GreenRide gives you the choice to:
o Save money on traveling to the Reunion by finding a classmate to rideshare with (from/to home, Logan Airport, South Station, even the greyhound bus station)! o Reduce your carbon footprint by carpooling! Find out how much money you saved in gas, calculate the emissions you helped avoid releasing, the tons of CO2 the class did save through ridesharing - we can publish this as part of our next class report for our sustainability commitment! o Start partying early by seeing if there are enough people coming in from one location to hire a bus or van together! o Try a ridesharing program currently being tested as a candidate among others for Massachusetts (Charles River TMA is trying several rideshare programs and will likely chose one (or several) to roll out state-wide). [Click this link to connect to the Mass ride demo, and see whether it would work for your daily commute into Boston, Cambridge, or anywhere else in the state!] o Maintain your privacy.
It is easy to use - just open a free account with your email address and a password, and enter your information. Your full name and address will be masked, to protect you, andonly your first name will be visible. The program will find others who have registered, living near you, or en route to the reunion, and offer you the opportunity to email them to explore ridesharing opportunities. You can use one rideshare to come, and another to return - the tool even allows you to plan to commute for all events,a subset of events, or just one event. If no one has signed upalong your routewhen you signed on, do not despair! As others sign up, you will be notified if someone is near you or along your route.
Use it for the reunion - and provide feedback as well - to your classmate Nermin at Nahmad@ene.com.
Donated to the Class of '78 30th Reunion by Ecology and Environment, Inc.
